Hugo arrived at the station with enough time, but the screens were busy and several trains were leaving at almost the same hour. He looked quickly at his ticket and focused only on the time: 10:15.
A train at 10:15 appeared on platform four, so Hugo followed the crowd. He was already near the door when he heard an announcement for Valladolid. That name did not match his destination.
He stopped, moved away from the line, and checked the ticket again. This time he read every detail: Valencia, coach 6, seat 42, platform five. He had almost followed the correct time to the wrong train.
Hugo asked a station worker to confirm. The worker pointed behind him and said that platform five was on the other side of the stairs. Hugo thanked him and changed platforms before the doors closed.
On the train, Hugo put the ticket on the small table. He understood that travel information is like a sentence: one word can change the meaning.
