The Secret Note – historia en inglés A2

Evan borrowed an animal book from the school library because he needed information for a project. When he opened the book, a folded note fell onto the table.

The note was short: “Blue shelf. Four o’clock. Bring the book.” Evan looked around the quiet library, but nobody seemed to be watching him.

At first, he thought it was a joke. Then he noticed a small stamp at the bottom of the note: Reading Club. At four o’clock, he walked to the blue shelf with the animal book under his arm.

Three students were already there, each holding a different book with a note inside. The librarian explained that the club used hidden notes to invite curious readers.

Evan stayed for twenty minutes. He had gone to the shelf expecting a mystery, but he left with a list of books and two new names to remember.
